Thanks to the generosity of our donors throughout the past year, the Teton Valley Education Foundation (TVEF) is extremely proud to announce it has awarded $16,481.96 in classroom grants for the 2015-2016 school year. “Six out of the seven schools within Teton School District #401 submitted grant requests and we are excited that each of them received support this year,” stated Meg Heinen, Chair of the Teton Valley Education Foundation Board of Directors. “We funded a total of 17 grants submitted over three grant cycles.
The Teton Valley Education Foundation in partnership with the Teton School District is sponsoring a new program called Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors. Abriendo Puertas is the nation’s first evidence-based comprehensive training program developed by and for Latino parents with children ages 0-5.
Driggs, ID — Hop on the school bus on Thursday, December 3, for Teton Valley’s most unique and fun fundraiser, Ride and Dine. It’s a night of pure entertainment where all the proceeds benefit Teton Valley’s public schools.
Guests will hop on the school bus at 5:30 p.m. at one of the three bus stops across the valley — The Geotourism Center in Driggs, Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Drictor and West Side Yard in Victor. From there the bus driver will take them to three stops…appetizers at Moose Creek Lodge, dinner at the Wildwood Room and dessert and dancing at the West Side Yard.
